Jan is the son of the late Hermannus and Aaltje Wemekamp. He is survived by his siblings George and Jenny Wemekamp of Barrhead, Alberta; Helen and John Postma of Brighton, Ontario; Alie and Bill Vogelzang of Barrhead, Alberta; Gerrit and Grace Wemekamp of Coaldale, Alberta and predeceased by Dina, Bertha, Henry, Willem and Herman. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Riek, Gail and Janna Wemekamp and his many nieces and nephews.
