Jean Stead of Caledon, Ontario, has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior; she passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Brampton Civic Hospital. Jean was born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan on August 22, 1935.
Beloved wife of the late Calvin Stead for over 50 years. Loving Mother to Gary (Tammy predeceased) Stead, Shannon (Allan) Taylor. Loving Grandmother to Corinne (Adam) Power, Chantelle (Steven) Deline, Ryan (Reena) Taylor, and Lynsey Taylor. Loving Great Grandmother to Andrew and Alyssa Power, Taylin Deline, and Calvin Taylor. Dear sister to Vivienne, Danny and David, predeceased by Johnny, Sylvia, and Adrienne.
She will be remembered for living her faith, sharing it and always willing to tell stories.
The family will receive their friends at Caledon Hills Fellowship Baptist Church, 16591 Airport Road, Caledon East on Saturday morning, March 28 from 10 o’clock until funeral service begins at 11 o’clock. Spring Interment Caledon East Public Cemetery.
