It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laurie Dawn Ross on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital. She was the daughter of Dorothy and James Ross. Laurie was the beloved sister of Judy Ross and Carol Hunter and as well as the proud and cherished Aunt of Lee, Luke, Mitch, Lauren & Tracey. She will be profoundly missed by her family friends and coworkers. Laurie was born in Toronto, Ontario where she spent the first 36 years of her life before settling in Maple, Ontario for the remainder of her days. Laurie spent her time fostering and nurturing deep and loving relationships with countless friends. She was fiercely independent, working hard all her life, ultimately developing a career at CIBC that she was truly proud of. Laurie’s compassion and kindness was exemplified through her deep love for animals. She was also a passionate and avid sports fan. Laurie meant so much to so many and will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the lives of all those she loved, and the profound impact she had on all of our lives will be eternally felt.

Laurie’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 31st from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) .
