Lorraine, our dear friend and neighbour, for 40 years, will be so dearly missed by our entire Family. We each watched our Families grow up, mature and move on with their lives. So many great memories, laughs, some sadness (Craig) but mostly very cherished memories. Our street and neighbourhood will never be the same without you but you will always be remembered in our hearts.

Love Craig, Marti, Corey and Candace.

    R.I.P. Lorraine

I remember Lorraine from my days of working at Alpa Lumber in Concord. Lorraine was on one of the tellers at the Royal Bank on the corner at Keele & 7. I would have seen her on an almost daily basis from 1979 to 1987 as it was my job to make our deposits. They weren’t just simple deposits. A few times a year, there would be a ton of banking with the partners’ companies and it would not be unheard of for us to be rushing into the bank after what was then the 4pm cut-off time for them to post the deposits. Many a time, Lorraine went the extra mile to slip our deposits into the stack as a favour. I would often let people skip ahead of me in line, so I could have Lorraine look after me and to say hello to her. Always unflappable….and a Boltonite to boot. My condolences to all her family and loved one.

The first time I met your mom was at the Humberview School. I was one of the office staff & always thought your mom was a kind & thoughtful person. Later when Vi married my dad did I learn of her being part of the Mountjoy family. She was very kind to Vi & I know everyone knew of the many thoughtful ways she helped her. I’m sure this has been a very difficult & sad time but the happy memories of all she was to your family will remain with you forever.
