With profound sadness, the family of Pasquale Monaco announces his passing on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the age of 89, peacefully with his family by his side. He was born in San Massimo, Italy and carried with him the values of hard work and love of family throughout his life.
Pasquale is reunited in eternity with his late father Leo Monaco and late mother Maria Monaco.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 63 years, Anna, his children Mary (Tony) and Elizabeth (Michael) and his cherished grandchildren Marc, Samantha, Vanessa, and John, whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his siblings Michele (Franca) and Anna, along with nephews, extended family members and friends who will remember him always.
Pasquale was a humble and hardworking man who appreciated the quiet joys of everyday life. He enjoyed playing bocce, watching soccer and cheering for Juventus, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved being with his grandchildren, playing with them as they grew up and proudly attending their games and activities.
Above all, Pasquale will be remembered for his kindness, strength, dedication to family and for the steady presence he was in the lives of those who loved him.
Family and friends are welcome to the visitation at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, 7241 Jane Street, Vaughan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cortellucci Hospice Vaughan (www.hospicevaughan.com).
