Kirk and I met Margaret and Jim in 2006 when Laura and Jimmy started dating. When we started spending a month in Florida we became close friends. We enjoyed so many dinners followed by live music and dancing. Margaret always arrived in a lovely dress with matching shoes and purse, always stylish and put together. On Valentines days they would always be part of the Clark/Farnsworth’s steak bbq. These gatherings led to a friendship that lasted many years. Whenever I could I loved to join Margaret and Judy for their regular Wednesday golf game at Dufferin Glen with dinner after. Margaret became a welcome addition to our Orangeville theatre group. I was so happy to celebrate her 90th birthday in December. I thought there would be many more golf games and theatre outings. I was so sorry to see her suffering these past few months. I hope that she and Jim have reunited. I will never hear “You look wonderful Tonight” without thinking of this special couple. I miss them both.

I miss my golf buddy. Every Wednesday at 2:30 we had a tee time at Dufferin Glen followed by a standing dinner reservation at the Bluebird Cafe. Margaret shared lots of stories about growing up in Scotland, immigrating to Canada, and her pride in her family. People were amazed that she was 90.

It has been a joy to have you as my friend Margaret, you will be missed by many.

    Condolences to all the family

Margaret was always such a pleasure to talk with. As a client, she often shared stories about her younger years, her love for her family, and her beloved furry companion, Misty. She spoke about her grandchildren often and was so proud of all they’d accomplished. She had a joyful spirit and a deep appreciation for life. I hope she rests peacefully, knowing the impact she made on those around her.
