To the family of Flo and Ken we send our sincere condolences. We remember Flo and Ken well from our time at Caven.
Flo and Ken were meant for each other and now they are reunited. May their souls rest in peace after a job well done on earth.

I am so sorry for your loss Darryl, it has been a hard journey for you the last couple years. Flo was my aunt, godmother and a very special person in my life. She has looked after me since I was a little girl. I remember her looking after me in the laundromat that her and uncle Roy managed. I was also her maid of honour at her wedding to Ken. I am so thankful for everything that she did for me.
My mind has been flooded with memories of her in this last couple of days, and I’m grateful that I was able to see her before she didn’t know who I was.
Rest in peace Aunt Flo, I love you

    Your niece,
    Lynn

We’re sorry for your loss Darryl. We remember fondly all the many family gatherings we had in Palgrave especially around the pool. The many family dinners at Don Valentinos, Ken and Flo dancing on the non existing dance floor at the restaurant. We credit Flo with Ken’s longevity she made it her mission to look after him and she certainly did a great job!

    Rest in peace Flo

I met Flo and Ken both at Caven Church.

We have fond memories of Flo and Ken from our years at Caven Presbyterian Church. She was a lovely lady and they were both great contributors to the life of the Church.

Flo was my mother-in-law for many years, and from the day she came into my life, she offered guidance, support, and encouragement that was always appreciated.

Flo was spirited, determined, strong, generous, and giving.
She embraced life, and treasured time with family.

I will always cherish the memories she created with us, from summer gatherings at their home in Palgrave to Thanksgiving celebrations, Christmas traditions, and outings that brought everyone together.

She will be deeply missed, by my son Brandon and I, and remain in our hearts always.

Darryl – Our sincere condolences. We know the past few years have been difficult for you and no doubt for Flo too. Over 45 or so years we got to know her well. On many visits to Palgrave we often heard stories about her early life on the farm at Teulon and later in Toronto where she and Roy managed the dry cleaning business. She did not have an easy life in those days and we came to admire and respect her tenacity and resilience through difficult times.

Her marriage to Ken and the move to Palgrave was the start of a long and very happy period in her life. Flo was a respected and well known member of the Palgrave community. On the many occasions we stayed with her and Ken she always made us most welcome. When we were there for her birthday we would always buy her favourite dessert – pumpkin pie. It was a treat she never bought or made because Ken didn’t like it!

We also owe Flo a great debt of gratitude for the love and care she gave Ken towards the end of his life. She became his primary carer and there is no doubt that his longevity attests to her love and dedication. Our thoughts will be with you and her on Tuesday when she is laid to rest with Ken in her beloved Palgrave.

Thank you Flo for a life well lived that touched us all.

Darryl I don’t think I ever met you but Flo talked about you all the time. Flo and I lost touch when she moved. I loved her dearly. We walked together around Palgrave for a very long time. May she rest in peace with Ken.
