Dear Gail, Brent and Clair.(Jeff and Michelle)
I am sad to hear of the passing of Hilton, husband, brother, best friend and grandpa. It has been some time since I have seen him but memories are clear, numerous and full of laughter and smiles. I recall oyster bars in Florida, a lot of oysters and then some more and then a few more, fine wine, beer and of course, coffee challenges – is there a difference, can you detect the decaf! I loved the attention to detail.
He was and will remain a good soul, highly respected and loved by many. My heart aches for you and your families.
Much love, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sarah Milne and Ethan.

Such a joy to know and work with….to Gail, and families, what an amazing person we knew and will alway miss.

The world is a little less delightful without Hilton in it. He enriched us all with his humour, intelligence, curiosity, and jpie de vie. I will never forget his performances as Sam McMoneybags tossing chocolate loonies to the audience of principals and superintendents watching the Blackburn Players annual satirical musical. Deepest condolences from my own broken heart to you.
Bonnie Brown-Fisher
Dear Wilson Family,
I was honoured to have worked with Hilton in former Etobicoke. As a retired principal, I have cherished Hilton’s work both as an exemplary principal but also for his devotion in supporting our endeavours to continue our connections after our retirement. My deepest sympathy to your family at this difficult time but I hope you find comfort in your wonderful memories of this true gentleman.
Bob Blackburn
Dear Gail and family,
My deepest sympathy to you. You all had the biggest and best part
of Hilton but I treasure the quality of my smaller sample. Hilton was
one very special person and there is a plethora of people who can
attest to that.
When the late Al Turner retired from the Blackburn Players for
professional and political reasons, a new star was born. Hilton’s
mummy striptease was an act of comedic genius.
After his cooking classes. In Italy, he taught me how to make pasta
from scratch – plus a little egg and flour in Gail’s kitchen.
I treasure my memories, and someday when I feel strong, I shall
view a video of a funny mummy throwing chocolate loonies at
his colleagues.
Tony and Sharon Felice

Dear Gail and all the Wilson family
We were stunned and so extremely sad to hear Hilton passed away. We will always remember how he made us so welcome at Kleinburg United Church. He always had a bright smile for us and so tirelessly gave his energy and attention to everyone. In small way I hope we were able to brighten his days in conversations we had. John and Hilton enjoyed their conversations about computers and helped each other cope with new ideas.
So sorry for your loss and that of all family and friends. We will never forget him. Jane and John

” Do not stand at my Grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints in snow.
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush;
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars
that shine at night……… “
