It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heather, after a courageous battle with heart disease, with the thoughts and prayers of family and friends.  She is survived by her son Christopher (Kara), her brother Scott (Margo) and many nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Peter, who passed away very recently, her parents Madeline and Jim, her brothers Rob (Suzie) and Jamie.

Heather was a devoted wife and mother who had a great sense of humour, a hearty laugh and helped others.

There will be a celebration of Heather and Peter’s lives at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Saturday, July 7 from one o’clock until time of service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.

It is with profound sadness that I learn of Heather’s passing so close to Peter’s death. Their camaraderie and laughter we shared during our younger days in Lachine, including visits to the GTA will continue as enduring, enjoyable memories we shared together.

My sincere condolences to all family during this sad time.
