Peacefully passed, surrounded by his loving family, at his home, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, Marc LaVallee, at the age of 91 years, beloved husband for 62 years of Heidi. Loving father of Jennifer and Rudy Kramer, and David LaVallee and Laura Lee Nimilowich. Cherished grandfather of Oliver Kramer and Maggie Kramer.
Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Tuesday morning, October 6 at 11 o’clock. Reception to follow at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S., Bolton.

My heart is with all of you. Marc was an incredible man, and I feel so lucky to have grown up knowing him. So many of my childhood memories have him in them — his humour, his warmth, and the way he always made everyone feel welcome. He had a gift for bringing lightness into any room, and a kindness that stayed with you long after you left. I’m grateful for every moment shared over the years and for the steady, comforting presence he always offered.
To Heidi — the partnership you and Marc built was truly special. Anyone who spent time around your family could feel the love, loyalty, and friendship between you. It was clear how deeply you supported one another and how much joy you shared.
To Jenn and Dave — watching your dad love you both over the years was something I’ll always carry with me. Jenn, you’ve been my oldest friend, and I saw firsthand how deeply your dad cared for you — in the way he listened, encouraged, and celebrated you at every stage of life. And Dave, his pride in you was just as unmistakable. It came through in every story he told, every laugh you shared, and the way his whole face lit up whenever he talked about both of you.
To Oliver and Maggie — your grandfather’s joy for you both was unmistakable. He spoke about you with such admiration and affection, so proud of who you’ve become and the paths you’re carving in the world.
And to Laura Lee and Rudy — And to Laura Lee and Rudy — Marc had such an easy, genuine connection with you both. It was clear how much he appreciated the love, support, and steadiness you brought into the family.
I know how deeply this loss is felt by each of you, and how much Marc meant not only as a father, husband, grandfather, and father‑in‑law, but as a friend to so many of us who grew up alongside your family. Please know you’re surrounded by so much love as you move through this time. Marc will be so dearly missed, and he will be remembered with warmth, gratitude, and affection by everyone whose life he touched.
