Saddened to learn of the passing of Cy, he was truly a main fixture of the town of Bolton/ Caledon. He was a pure talent that created the town’s flag for its centennial celebration in 1972. Cy also produced a heritage collection of the old core of Bolton’s buildings that some of were lost to fire such as the Queen’s hotel, the Hickman street arena and the Albert street public school. Others were in the collection as well. May he Rest In Peace.

    Dear Ruth and family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Cy at my first job as a graphic designer at the Bolton Enterprise in 1988-89. The work ethic he instilled in me at the young age of 18, is something I still carry with me every single day of my career as a designer. He was a wonderful, kind and patient man who taught me so many great things and I will remember him fondly.

    My sincere condolences,
    Laura Mark

    Dear Wallace family,
We’re saddened to learn of Mr Wallace’s recent passing. He was a prominent pillar of the community in so many ways and a positive role-model as a dad to many of us growing up in the Connaught, Jane, Nancy,King streets neighbourhood. Our condolences to you all and may your wonderful memories of your husband/dad/grandfather help you all in your bereavement.

    In sympathy, The Tobin family

    Dear Ruth:
I was a young boy when you & Cy married.
I lived across the road from your family (Evan’s)
My name is Larry Ham , I lived at 392 Roxton Rd in Toronto
I will always remember Cy as our Sunday School teacher. Cy gave us all an autogaphed bible.
I still have mine dated 1968.
I remember your Mum had a cottage near Innisfil.
I also remember your sisters – Linda, Joanie, Lorna & a young brother Ritchie who I walked with to Dewson St School.
Please accept my sincere condolences regarding the passing of Cy. He was a very influential person in my life.
    I am now 78
    Best regards
    Larry Ham
