It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my dear husband Bruce – loved father of Greg, Gary and Leann, and their families; Laurie, Stefanie, and Jamie, Gareth, Tristam and Madeleine. 54 years ago we were married on Bruce’s birthday. He often said I was his birthday gift.
At Bruce’s request, a private family service was held shortly after his passing.
In Bruce’s honor, donations can be made to the War Amps Child Amputation Program (CHAMP), 2827 Riverside Drive, Ottawa K1V 0C4 or to the Hospital for Sick Children for children with cancer, 555 University Avenue, Toronto M5G 1X8.
Arrangements by Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905-857-2213).
Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

Norma, Greg, Gary and Leann,
As a former Forest Court-er, I have many memories of Bruce, who was always Mr. Nicholson to the kids on the street. Being the same age as Leann, we often played in and around your home. I have a vivid memory from decades ago when Bruce and Norma let us create a “haunted house” in the large garage and bring some other neighborhood kids in for a scare.
My parents, Barb and Ron, always mentioned humour whenever they spoke of Bruce over the years and clearly, Norma and Bruce were special neighbors to have for so long.
I hope you are taking strength from one another in your loss,
Derek McLean
