Ron, Michael, Angela, Crystal and families:
We are devastated by the loss of your wife, mom, gramma and our friend. We met after the move from Bolton to Burnt River and were immediately taken by Brenda’s outgoing, happy self. She was always smiling and seeing the good in people. We shared many meals, a few bottles of wine, card games and a million laughs. But it was not enough; we wanted this friendship to go on forever. You will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace dear lady. Love, Afe and Sandra

As a camper and staff at Bolton Camp you folks always invited me into your home on the property I got to enjoy a BBQ when I should have been at program. You were always nice to me and and it was nice to have known you both. I remember my first encounter at the Herman’s, answering the door and Ron saying “son shouldn’t you be with your group?” I said I was feeling left out if I could hang out? and he kindly said sorry we’re on our way out but come by when he had time to talk… It ended up I enjoyed that BBQ while the others were swimming. Anyway my girlfriend and I would like to extend our heart felt condolences God Bless you and your families our prayers are with you. Sorry to say that house is no longer there. 🙁

Dear Ron – I ran into Brenda last year at the Water’s Edge Restaurant in Bobcaygeon. She was so vibrant, and looked lovely – out lunching with a group of women from Burnt River. Had no idea she was ill. I will always remember the fun we had at sorority together, and how warm and caring she was.

Very, very sad to hear of the passing 0f Brenda. I got out my photo from 1952, Grades one to three, Miss Sampson , our teacher. at Nobleton Public School. HERE… the Hill Families, along with The Mactaggarts, Kaakes, Witherspoons, Browns, Sherdowns, Bishops, Braggs, Tomlinsons, Dalziels, Goodfellows, and Chamberlains, Doc. Kinny, and The Longs, and so many more, helped us kids develop who we are today. In this photo Brenda has the same smile and round shaped face that is posted on Egan’s website. Ron in the back row, with the greatest grin. It always amazed us kids how our parents knew so quickly what mischief we were into before we even got home… remember that wall telephone with the one ring community line and the operator who always listened in… Thanks to my late parents, Mike and Eva, who saved photos, letters, etc. I can look back and remember those now passed… Sincerely, with my condolences, I REMAIN ,
TEDDY WESTBROOK.
