It was my pleasure to have known Bev for the past few months and could tell she was a woman with a great sense of humour and a kind and caring heart.

Ken and family, I am sorry to hear the sad news about Bev. As a member of Joanne and Allen Phillips’ family, I was always struck at the friendship you and Bev had with them for so many many years. Kathy and I enjoyed the stories and the banter that took place when we were all together and certainly Bev more than held her own in those exchanges. We really enjoyed her sense of humour and I know you will all miss her very much. Please take care, regards, Arnie Warner

From all of the Richmond family in Essex, we extend our sincere condolences on your, and our loss of Aunty Bev. Another part of the family circle has been relocated…to a better place I’m sure.
She will have the group well organized by the time we all catch up with her.
With our grief, we also express our understanding of the ways of the, Almighty, for not allowing her to stay with us needlessly.

I was sorry to read of Bev’s passing. Bev always had a smile and warm greeting when we would meet in town. I enjoyed and will miss those short visits. Occasionally, many years ago, I would catch a ride from Toronto back to Bolton with Bev and her husband Ken. They were always so friendly and accommodating. My condolences to Ken and the family.

Bev was one of the first people we met when we moved to Bolton in1969, at the dentist’s office, playing badminton, in Elsie Bulloch’s IGA, she always had a smile and a joke for everyone. Such a happy lady she will be missed.

Warren, Samantha, Olivia and Evan, I am so sorry to hear of Bev’s passing. I remember her so well, even after all these years, sitting at the desk at the dental office, smiling away. She was friendly to me through all the years, always remembering me as a “Gibb Girl”. I am sorry I could not be there with you on Monday. You are in my heart.

My condolences to the Richmond family. Bev & I worked together at the Wellness Centre–child minding. She was wonderful & firm with the little ones. Even after she quit, Bev would stop by to see the kids & have a chat with Kathy Leary & myself. She would often have us in stiches. Kathy & I would wave to her as she did the aqua fit classes while we worked. She was always happy to wave back. She’s still waving.
