Peacefully at his home in Shanty Bay, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, November 21, 2022, Santo Calitri, at the age of 76 years, beloved husband and best friend of Cheryl. Loving and proud father of Michael (Cindy), and Christopher. Cherished grandfather of Mason. Dear brother of Severina D’Amico (Gerald) and brother-in-law of Howard Kummer (Terri), Linus Kummer (Margaret), Terrance Kummer (Marilyn), Loved by many nephews and nieces. The family would like to especially thank Dr. K. Russell, Dr. M. Belau, Dr. C. Stevens, Dr. A. Dickson, Dr. M. DiLena and all the nurses and staff at RVH Oncology Centre over the past eight years. A special thank you for the compassionate homecare by Ed, Santo’s nurse, and PSWs Mariangela and Jennifer.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday, November 24 from 5 – 8 o’clock and on Friday, November 25 from one o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
