It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roselee Soyka, on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the age of 80. Roselee passed away peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Ted Soyka (2001), she will be forever cherished by her loving son David and his wife Megan Wall. Roselee was the proud and devoted grandmother of Jackson, Tyler, and Grace. She will be dearly missed by her sister Cheryl Sellers (Gord) and brother Richard (Ricky) Hagerman, and fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Roselee was predeceased by her brother Ken Hagerman earlier this year.
A lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, Roselee was a woman of strength and independence, known for her loyalty, honesty, and unwavering friendship. She took immense pride in her family and shared their joys with her friends and the community at Rivers Edge.
In keeping with Roselee’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be arranged in the new year. Arrangements entrusted to Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905-857-2213). Friends and family are invited to share their condolences at www.EganFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roselee’s memory to Sleeping Children Around the World, a charity dear to her heart, would be gratefully appreciated.

I am very sorry to hear that Roselee has passed away. We have been friends for a long time, starting when I joined the Beta Sigma Phi chapter when I moved to Orangeville in 1977. She cared for everyone and enjoyed getting together for a chat and catch up anytime. Her grandchildren were always part of the conversations, she was so proud of all of them.
She will be dearly missed!
My condolences to you and your family David.

Dear David, Megan, Jackson, Tyler and Grace,
Sending you our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved Mom. Roselee has been in our lives since we first moved to Caledon East in 1970 and Mom has many wonderful memories of their time together at Beta Sigma Phi and their road trip to the East Coast together along with many poolside cocktails, corn roasts, chicken roasts and Christmas parties.
