We are so sorry for your loss. Ron was a strong proud father and grandfather. Astute at both business and life. Having been with him at lodge Monday it is amazing how he lived life right up to his being called to the Grand Lodge above. I will never forget the look of pride on his face the night of Nathan’s Official Visit to his mother lodge Tottenham No 467. Being the person to lead the Grand Honours I was doing fine until I looked to my right and saw that look of a father’s true pride in his son. It overcame me to know how he felt. He was a giant at the legion the band his church, the lodge , the community and to his family. Even though he is gone he blessed
D you all and us all in his life. Thoughts and prayers Bonnie and Ken Pratt

on behalf of Ron’s Clans of Tecumseth Pipes and Drums family we are all shattered with this news. Ron was our leader in music and all things Scottish. As a founding member of the band he was our band historian and mentor. As the Pipe Major I would often differ to Ron “what would you like us to play?” As our Quartermaster he held the band together.
He championed the new students and honoured the veterans. He was a generous with his praise and time. Burns nights will never be the same without him.

And Ron, Bye for noo…
An honest man here lies at rest,
The friend of man, the friend of truth,
The friend of age, and guide of youth:
Few hearts like his, with virtue warm’d,
Few heads with knowledge so inform’d;
If there’s another world, he lives in bliss;
If there is none, he made the best of this.
