Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Bethell Hospice, Inglewood, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Robert Phillips, at the age of 79 years, beloved husband of Susan. Loving father of Trevor, Kevin, Tara and her husband Paul Inman. Cherished grandfather of Hailey and Courteney. Dear son of the late Frances and Thomas Phillips. Dear brother of Carolyn, Wayne, Gary and the late Judy Phillips.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 6 – 8 o’clock. A Lions Service will be held on Monday evening at 7:30 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning, January 13 at 11 o’clock. Interment Nobleton Community Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethell Hospice Foundation (bethellhospice.org). Bobby was a kind and generous man. I will always remember these traits during a difficult time for Gordie and I. My husband was looking for work and it was a long and arduous process. Bobby asked us up to the chalet one snowy winter weekend. He took Gordie skiing and talked about life in general and the job search and how it was going.
