Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of a truly special woman. Loretta Elizabeth Panza passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Loretta leaves behind her beloved husband of 54 years, Gino, her loving children, Marco (Tiziana) and Jennifer (Donny) and her cherished grandchildren Andrew, Emma, Eric, and Matthew. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters Fosca and Alida. Those who knew Loretta will always remember her generous heart, contagious smile, tight hugs, and the love she shared with everyone around her.
A devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, Loretta’s greatest joy was her family. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Whether through a comforting word, a thoughtful gesture, or her warm smile, she touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion.
Her happiest moments were spent with her children and grandchildren—sharing family meals, cheering on her grandchildren from the sidelines at their sporting events, playing games, and finding joy in making even the simplest moments fun. The memories they created together will remain treasured gifts forever carried in their hearts.
Loretta also found great joy in the beauty of nature. She lovingly tended to her garden and delighted in watching the birds that visited her yard, especially the hummingbirds, whose visits brought her joy.
Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. A devout Catholic, Loretta prayed daily striving to live each day with humility, love, forgiveness, and grace as she followed the example of Christ.
Visitation will take place at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m.
