It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Groll on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the age of 72 years. Linda passed away peacefully with her loving husband and dear friends at her side. She is survived by her husband Ron, nieces Mindy Beckett of Guelph, Shelley-Ann Beckett (Christopher Yeo) of Barrie; great nephews Jordan Lanteigne, Nicholas Lanteigne, Connor Yeo, and several cousins and treasured friends both here and abroad. Linda is predeceased by her parents John and Ann (nee Chapman), her brother John, and her in-laws Walter and Elizabeth Groll.
Linda was born in London, England in 1953 and began her life in Canada when her family moved to Weston, Ontario in 1966. Just 3 short years later she met Ron and in 1976 they began their life together in Bolton, Ontario where Linda embarked on a career in payroll and administration in the dental industry. She enjoyed their numerous trips to see family and friends in England, annual vacations in Florida, and frequent trips to Las Vegas and Niagara Falls.
Linda offered a warm smile to everyone she met and will be fondly remembered for her kindness, her soft spoken nature, and the love she gave so freely.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South, Bolton, on Friday, January 9 from 12pm to 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethell Hospice Foundation, 15835 McLaughlin Road, Inglewood, Ontario L7C 1H4.

Ron, Dan & I send our heartfelt condolences to you at this sad time. Linda was such a sweet soul, with a smile that could light up a room. We kept in touch often, either for her to order from avon, or to chat about our simular health issues, & i was heartbroken when she got the results she did. She fought long & hard to beat it until it was just too tough to fight it anymore. May she now Rest In Peace.
