Born on the 2nd of May 1923 in Pontefract, England, Lily Brown died peacefully, with her family by her side, at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Friday, November 13, 2009, in her 87th year. Beloved war bride of the late Ernest (Ernie) Kellow. Loving mother of Sandra and Don McArthur (both deceased), Denise (deceased) and Jim Bryant, Norman and Kathy, David and Helen, Ralph and Lorna, Rob and Lisa. Fondly remembered Nana by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also remembered by her nieces and nephews in England and New Zealand. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Sunday afternoon 2 – 4 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, November 16 at one o’clock. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
