Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Brampton Civic Hospital, on Sunday, July 25, 2010, Larry Woods, Bolton, in his 68th year, beloved husband of Dianne Woods (nee Snell). Loving father of Cheryl and Robert Briggs, Kevin and Belinda Woods. Adored grandfather of Ryan, Courtney and Austin. Loving son of Doris and the late Elton Woods. Dear brother of Marilyn and the late John Carpenter, Donna and Lloyd Lang, Wayne and Ruth Woods, Brad Woods, Lisa and John Cousins and predeceased by Douglas Woods. Loving son-in-law of William and the late Jean Ashley. Fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Hilda and Mike Shannon, Ralph and Cathy Snell, Glen and Christine Snell, Donna and Kevin Newcombe, Clifford and Yvonne Ashley. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South, (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213), on Wednesday afternoon 2- 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, July 29 at 2 o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
