Jones webframe

Our hearts are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Sam Jones on May 28, 2023.  Devoted to and inseparable from his wife Lori, who loved him beyond compare.  Much adored brother of Cheryl (Sue), Stan, Brian, Cathy and her husband Edi who he loved equally in return.  Favourite cool uncle to his many nieces and nephews that were so very dear to him.  Just a good ole boy, never doin’ no harm.   Keep on truckin’ Samman Jones until we meet again.

Celebration of Life to be held at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Saturday, June 10 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers please donate to your favourite charity.

My deepest sympathies to my sister, Lori, and my heartfelt condolences to Sam’s family. For over 30 years Sam and Lori shared their love for each other in a special bond; an enviable relationship of mutual respect. Sam was a “stand up” guy who was always willing to lend a helping hand to others, especially when it came to assisting the Jones and Waters family elders through their final years. I shall remain forever indebted to Sam for the selfless support he provided to my sister and my mother while I was unable to do so from my home in British Columbia.

A wise man once said that grief is love; a reluctance to let go. Grief is the final act of love we give to those who have passed. Coping with the loss of someone you love is one of life’s greatest sufferings. Often, the pain of loss can feel too much; an intense feeling of sadness and overwhelming sorrow. Our love for Sam will endure, and it will take time for those that loved him to heal our grieving hearts from his loss.

I am so sorry to hear this. I grew up with Sam in Malton. He was a good friend and very much a family man. I know he will be missed terribly. Hugs to his family.

My deepest sincere condolences to Lori and the entire family. Malton strong.
Sam will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
His smile and laugh was contagious. I will always remember his last wave to me from his porch calling me ‘Miss Independent’.
    Rest in Peace Sam ❤️
