Ken passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Ajax-Pickering Hospital at the age of 92. He leaves behind a family of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephew and their spouses and children. He is predeceased by his beloved sisters, Peggy and Betty, their spouses and his nephew Phillip.
Ken lived an independent and adventurous life. He travelled throughout Europe during his work years in England and around the globe in retirement.
He maintained his love for his hometown of Port Hope. In later years he returned to attend opera performances and have fish and chips at his favourite restaurant.
The last four years he enjoyed living at Chartwell PCC, taking part in many activities. He was well known for his big smile, hearty laugh and good spirit. Many thanks to Chartwell for their caring attitudes. Also thank you to all the staff who cared for Ken at the Ajax Pickering Hospital. Your care and concern was much appreciated.
There will be no funeral as per his request.
