I considered myself part of the Higgs family since I was 8 years old. My best friend Dave and his family hold a special place in my heart. It saddens me intensely to lose a wonderful and intelligent father figure in Ken. We had in common the love of nature and Parks. Special memories are with me forever of weekends at the cottage and spending New Year’s at Albion Hills. My sincerest condolences to Dave, Cathy, Meaghan and Shannon. My heart breaks with yours. He will be sorely missed. I love you all.
