Peacefully, at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, with his family at his side on Wednesday October 28, 2009 in his 50th year, beloved husband of Nancy (nee Mertz). Loving father of Drew, and Kimberly Johnston of Caledon Village. Dear stepfather of Natalie Beacock of Barrie. Dear brother of Kim and his wife Cindy; Kelly and her husband Richard Flear, all of Caledon Village. Son of the late Grant (2005) and Margaret (1994) Johnston. Son-in-law of Grace and the late Ralph (1981) Mertz and brother- in- law of Peter Mertz, all of Wyebridge. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Saturday afternoon from one until 4 o’clock.
