It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing at King Nursing Home in Bolton Ontario, on Friday, December 1st, 2023 at the age of 87 years.
Daughter of the late Napoleon and Flore (nee Catafore) Duhaime and dear sister of the late Raymond Duhaime. Dear wife of the late loving husband Gaetan Chauvin. Loving mother of Joanne Poulin (Marshall McCracken) and Jennifer-Lynn (Michael McCracken). Cherished Memere to Jean-Marc, Marie Josee (Shaun), Jeffrey (Jessica), Calvin, and Brooke-Lynn. Adored great-grandmother to Zoey, Taylor, and Elektra.
Jeannine was a devoted teacher who was employed by the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario for many years. She was an exemplary teacher who taught at all elementary grades.
Jeannine was the life of the party. She enjoyed playing the piano and loved social gatherings. She was known for her smile and great sense of humor. She loved traveling, knitting, camping, and listening to music.

To honor Jeannine’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
