Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday, January 30, 2011, Gloria May Currell, Newmarket, formerly of Schomberg, in her 78th year, beloved wife and best friend of the late Garney Clarkson. Dear mother of Gary and his wife Teresa Clarkson and step-mother of Robert and his wife Lorraine Clarkson, Betty and her husband Robert Charters and predeceased by Marilyn Scott. Fondly remembered by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Loving sister of June Elliott, Vivian Crossman and Ernest Currell. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, February 2 at 2 o’clock. Interment Caledon East Public Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Canadian Diabetes Association, One Bartley Bull Parkway, Brampton L6W 3T7.
