
Georgina Anne Clinning (nee) Stroud, dearest wife of the late William (Bill) Clinning, passed away on June 26th, 2025. Born October 18th, 1951 to Harold and Margaret Stroud, Georgina was a beloved sister and friend. She is survived by her sisters Lesley and Jacqueline Stroud, her brother Ronald Stroud (Anne) and her cherished dog Lady M. Georgina’s kindness and gentle disposition brought happiness to those who knew and loved her. She will be missed by nieces Toni Baker, Terri Baker, Karli Gaebler (Harry) Gillian Stroud (Ben) and nephews Mark and Ronny Baker. She also will be missed by great nieces and nephews Justin, Cheyenne (Brian), Terrell, Sofia, Mateo, Evelyn, Walter and Josephine. Georgina explored the world in her travels, took great pleasure in the joy of cooking and baking and shared her compassionate ways with family and friends.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Wednesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 6 – 8 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon on Thursday morning, July 3 at 11 o’clock.
Interment Caledon East Public Cemetery, 12366 Airport Road, Caledon East.

Georgina was a wonderful friend for 53 years, from the time I came home from a European bus tour to find she had changed jobs and was working with my collection agency. We had lots of crazy adventures together. I will miss her terribly.
