On Sunday, January 8, 2012, at Leisure World Nursing Home, Vaughan, Ethne Berube, in her 91st year, wife of the late Rosaire Berube. Dearest mother of Jackie Byrne (John), Laurence (Glenda), Brendan (Joanne – deceased), Michael, Peter, and Charles (Diane). Loving grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 8.
There will be a private family mass at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Wildfield on Thursday, January 12 followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill.

Mom was a wonderful and unique woman. There are few and far between in this world with the kind of love, concern, caring and understanding that was always present when near her. Her great sense of insight and that marvelous Irish spirit, smile, laughter and “sayings” were always a joy to experience.
Mom will always be loved and dearly missed by all who knew her. Truly one of the few that remained of a great Era!
