Peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital, on Monday, May 14, 2012, Peggy Johnston, Schomberg, in her 97th year, beloved wife of the late John Samuel (Jack) Johnston. Loving mother of Lynda Thompson. Cherished grandmother of Dana and Corie and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, May 17 at 11 o’clock.
Interment Nashville Cemetery.

Lynda and family – I may have met you once or twice – I have been friends of Bryan and Lorraine’s all my life, and on many occasions had the opportunity of visiting with Peggy at their home. What a wonderful and kind lady she was and how truly great that she lived to such an age. I feel blessed that I knew her and spent a bit of time with her in conversation. She was a wise old lady and I am happy to have known her. I want to offer you my sincere condolences.
