Richard, Kathryn, and Pamela, I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your Mum. We have so many special memories of growing up with our two families and the close bond between Mum and Tommy. Remember the clay molds we made on Harold Point Beach at Killbear? Our family still returns to Killbear every summer and we refer to the Leach’s campsite. Be kind to yourselves as you adjust to your loss.
    Love
    Sylvia

Evangeline Leach was, quite simply, one of the most remarkable women I have ever met. Strong, creative, selfless, and unwavering in her stand for the Truth! Her inclusiveness was complete, genuine, and unconditional and I experienced it first hand in my early twenties when she and Art welcomed me into their home for a year or so when I needed a place to live. This gift of genuine interest and caring for others she passed on to her son and daughters, for I have always felt that same warmth from them thru the years. In the early 80’s I found myself sharing a home with her again when my daughter was 3 yrs old and one of her earliest memories is the pancakes Evangeline would make in the shapes of teddy bears and puppies. Always cheerful and giving, but never compromising, she lovingly offered her words of wisdom when needed and her encouragement when life got challenging. It has been quite a few years since I last saw her, but my memories of our times together are strong. Thank you, Evangeline, for being such a force for good in my life! Love, Tessa

I feel honoured to have been a small part of your lives the past two years. The love, respect and kindness you showed your Mother has touched me greatly. She was a strong and lovely person and you should feel proud of the life you shared together. I hope in some small way we made your lives a little easier. Love Cathy

I had the pleasure of sharing and enjoying Evangeline’s company and sweet spirit for only a few years while conducting business with her and Scarlett.
She was my “breath of fresh air” when she had the opportunity to come and help Scarlet label bottles at the wine store!
    She will be missed.

    Richard, Kathy and Pam,
I was so sorry to hear this sad news. I have such fond memories of our times together growing up. I remember watching your mom painting a scene at Kilbear Prov Park when we camped there. She must have given it to my Mom, because now I have it here in Calgary where I enjoy it everyday.
Your mom was always kind to me and I miss her, and your family. The times we had together were special. I’m sorry we’ve lost touch over the years.

Thank you, Scarlette, Pam, and Richard, for enabling us to enjoy Tommy’s vibrancy. She gave me Art for company in the back row of the Unfoldment. I recall Dr. Mills emphasizing the border between land and sea on her canvas.
    With love and condolence,
    Bill Wingfield

    Dear Richard,Scarlette and Pam,
From a long distance I send you my sincere condolences, I remember sweet Evangeline as a very loving devoted and honest woman very creative and a great inspiration, strong in her principles and love to Mr. Mills.
It has been many years but I can picture her in my mind with great fondness.

I was so sorry to hear this sad news. I have such great memories of our times growing up in Cooksville, and enjoying the fun times at your home. Take care,
    Love Janet
