Unexpectedly, in the morning, on Saturday, February 11, 2006, at his beloved Donnyweir Farm, Caledon, Don H. Weir in his 74th year, much loved, best friend and devoted husband of Judith (nee Evans). ﾠAdored, cherished and respected father of Jeffrey, Gary, Nancy and their spouses Tricia, Jana and Craig. ﾠLoving Granddad of Lowell, Cale, Holly, Dirk, Owen and Ella. ﾠDear brother and brother-in-law of Joan and Gerald Donnelly. ﾠWill also be sadly missed by his brother-in-law John Evans, sister-in-law Lisa Evans and their family Kristi, Roland and Helena Stoever; Cathryn and Karen Evans. ﾠ”We will love you forever and carry you with us in our hearts always.” ﾠThe family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. If your mother, Grace, had a brother who was killed during WW II, I would like to get in touch with you. I am the widow of the late nephew of the late Martha Pennel who was married to H. Allen Pennell. I have some pictures and other objects that could be meaningful to your family. Please contact me by e-mail if you are related to the late Allen Pennell. It is a coincidence that I use my middle name, Avalon. I have seen on researching the internet that your mother lived her final years at a nursing home of the same name.
