    For a moment, all the world was right.

    Regrettably, I haven’t seen Bryan since the last year John Lagerquist and I were lucky enough to have Bryan as our goalie on the team we coached. I know I can speak for John when I say that we were selfishly VERY happy to see Bryan come out for tryouts in the Spring, he was the one player that really never needed to tryout but still put 120% in every tryout, every game, every year.

    I was very upset to hear the tragic news. The only thing bigger than Bryan’s glove hand was his heart. He was an absolute pleasure to coach, I was very lucky to have had the opportunity to get to know Bryan through hockey. I will always remember his kind and thoughtful nature, his competitive drive and how he carried himself as a perfect gentlemen no matter what the situation.

    My thoughts are with the entire family, I am so very sorry for your loss.

    Dear Shirley and family;

    We were so sorry to learn of the passing of your son. Robert was far too young to leave and now to lose your son. We are in Florida and check Egan’s site every day. It was such a shock. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

    Sincerely Judith and Paul Turner

    Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Shirley, Allan, Carolyn, and to the extended Armstrong (and Mountain) Family. We have very fond memories of Bryan when he played with Ben in soccer and as a schoolmate at Mayfield. It was a privilege to have known him.
    We just learned of his passing today, March 30th.
