With great sadness we announce the sudden passing on Sunday, October 18, 2009, of Alex Weatherhead, in his 71st year, beloved husband of Colleen Hawes. Loving father of Jeff and his wife Kerri, Georgetown; Brad and his wife Lynn, Tottenham. Cherished Papa of Mackenzie, Kaelyn, Kyle, Jake and predeceased by Kylie. Dear brother of Robert and his wife Marian, Toronto; John, Ottawa. Dear uncle of Ngaire and Leo Lumia, Lindsey, and Katie. Dear brother-in-law of Audrey and Harold McKibbon, Ida Bilodeau and Mike Ross, Bill and Roseanne Hawes. Uncle of Rachelle, Donald, Michelle, Kathy, and Lyette. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, October 22 at 11 o’clock. Followed by cremation. If desired, memorial donations may be made for the purchase of a defibrillator for the Caledon Fire & Emergency Services, 6097 Old Church Road, Caledon East, L7C 1G6 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
