Always a story teller, Uncle Al will be missed by our family. He’s always been a support and comfort for us. Sandy and Al’s visits to Manitoba are always something we looked forward to. In the picture (2012) Al and Will are sharing dinosaur stories and facts, neither one wanting to be out-witted by the other hence Al’s emphasis with his body language. His memory and strength is in all of us.

So many happy memories growing up on Silverstone and feeling like I was an extension of the family. Al (Mr.Forester back then) always had a sly grin that warmed the room. I am thinking of you all during this sad time, saying goodbye is so hard and I do hope that the grief you are feeling is eased with lots of happy memories. Love Debbie

Miss being able to chat with Allen. He was a dear brother in law. Love and sympathy to

Aunt Sandy and family.
We were saddened to learn of Uncle Al’s passing.
Our memories of your trips to visit here on the farm include great conversations with Al who had a great sense humor and could converse on so many topics. Also you chose the hottest days of the year, and we all know how hot the old farm house is!
I(Wanda), remember how wonderful it was for Al to step into the Father of the Bride role at Sheryl & Jason’s wedding. That really meant alot to Sheryl and was such a kind way to do the job his brother would have done. I always thought it was a beautiful part of the ceremony.
I know the memories you have of such a kind Husband, Dad and Grampa will hold you through these though days ahead.
You will be in our thoughts.

My Uncle Al was a great guy: Inteligent, thoughtful and funny; always ready to ‘joke around’.
Al and Sandy helped me through some very dark family times. They provided me with love, support and guidance and taught me the value of a having a university education. They also inspired me by pursuing their degrees themselves later in life.
I will always be grateful for having known Al Forester.
Love April
