To work along side John was a privilege that I’m so glad to have shared. His perseverance, stubbornness, quiet-mannered patience has reflected upon my own work ethics to this day. His comical nature, strange humour and bewildering sayings run through my mind only to stir a smile. It was such an honour to have known the man as a coworker and as a friend. He will always be remembered respectfully as ‘Old John”.
