It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Evelyn Czar at the age of 79, beloved wife of the late Stefan Czar. She was the loving mother of Lisa, and Sean with his wife Christine. Cherished grandmother to Cole, Kylie, and Cameron. Dear sister of the late Doreen, Don, Gord (Lil), and Glenda. Susan was a proud aunt to Sandie, Steve (Bonnie), Kathy (Mark), Steve (Aida), Tim (Kim), Paul (Corrine), and numerous great-nephews and nieces. She died peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Bethell Hospice.
She fought a long and courageous battle with remarkable strength and grace, never losing her loving spirit or her beautiful smile. A devoted mom, she put her family at the center of her life and showed her love through constant presence, encouragement, and kindness.
Nothing brought her more joy than her children and grandchildren. She was their biggest fan, attending all their activities and events, cheering them on with pride and happiness. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love created memories that will be cherished forever.
She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her resilience, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her legacy lives on through the family she adored so deeply.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Canes Transitional Care and Bethell Hospice for their compassion and support during her final days.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
In memory of Susan, please join us for a cup of her favorite Tim’s coffee at Egan Funeral Home. The family will welcome friends at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) for a memorial reception on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethell Hospice Foundation, Inglewood.

Sean, Christine and family. I have been on the distant sidelines as Susan’s health deteriorated over the past few years, and have been so touched by the love, caring and compassion you have all shown. Despite the sadness of this loss, I am certain that Susan is aware and grateful for having her loving family by her side through all of it, and right until the last moment.
I know that your love for her will continue to grow, even though she is gone. Hopefully, with time, the joyful memories will slowly replace the pain of the last several months.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
