Passed into the arms of his Creator on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, John Lindsay of Orangeville, in his 90th year. Predeceased by his son David Lindsay and sisters Mary Speers and Margaret Glassford. Fondly remembered by his nieces Nancy Allen, Kathy Craig, Valerie Brooksbank and nephews Wayne Speers, Bryan Speers, Harold Speers, Donald Glassford and Scott Glassford. Also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Wednesday morning, December 31 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.
