Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Friday, June 15, 2012, Peter Nicholas, in his 69th year, beloved husband of Lillian Pierce. Loving step-father of Jim Pierce and his wife Rose, Bruce McCarley and his wife Corinne, Theresa and her husband Frank Brown, Carol and her husband Jack Cherry, Catherine Pierce, Hali and her husband Harry Daykin. Fondly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Peter is survived by his father Ron, brother Bob and predeceased by his mother Margaret.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Tuesday morning, June 19 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock. Followed by cremation. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Headwaters Health Care Foundation, 100 Rolling Hills Drive, Orangeville L9W 4X9 or Canadian Cancer Society, 202 – 2227 South Millway, Mississauga L5L 3R6.
