Peacefully at Sherwood Court Long Term Care Nursing Home, Maple, on Thursday, May 3, 2012, Rita Smith, in her 102nd year, beloved wife of the late Howard S. Burbidge, Nashville. Dear mother of Kenneth and Verda Burbidge, Moorefield; John and Carol Burbidge, Nashville; Ron and Nancy Burbidge, Sudbury; Wayne (deceased) Burbidge, Nashville. Lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the loving staff at Sherwood Court Long Term Care, Maple Lane Unit, for their compassionate care.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Sunday afternoon 1 – 5 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, May 7 at one o’clock.
Interment Nashville Cemetery.
