   Dear Kelly,
   I am so sorry to just learn now of the passing of your grandmother, Mrs. Whale. She was one feisty lady and I have some fun memories of her.One of my favourites was quite a few years ago now when I went to her apartment to deliver some books and have a short visit. I honestly don’t know how it all came about but there I was, being instructed, in spite of my obvious and painful lack of craft skills (which she pointed out numerous times I might add), how to make covered clothes hangers. She was much better than I was and I think she realized in quite short order that I was hopeless. I still have the 1/2 dozen hangers she gave me as a gift and I think of her fondly and with a smile every time I use one.
   My condolences to you, Dave and “the children”.
