Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, with her daughters by her side, on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, Juanita, in her 78th year, beloved wife of Donald J. Elford, Alliston and the late William Banks. Dear mother of Patti and Leonard Foley, Bolton; Susan and John Downs, Mississauga. Loving grandmother of Jason and Jacquie Foley, Michael Foley, Riley Downs and Jenna Downs. Cherished great-grandmother of Julia and Jayden Foley. Juanita was the daughter of the late Gordon and Grace MacDonald of Londonderry Station, Nova Scotia. Dear sister of Sheila MacIntyre, Wanda Fraser and Gail Yates. The family appreciates the kind care and support given to Juanita by the nurses and staff at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, January 6 at 11 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Stevenson Memorial Hospital, 200 Fletcher Crescent, New Tecumseth L9R 1M1.
