Paul Frederick Hodgkinson passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born on December 11, 1939.
Paul was a longtime resident of Palgrave, Ontario, where he lived for more than 40 years and built a life filled with family, friendship, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy Hodgkinson; his two daughters, Christine, Carrie Lynn, son-in-law Ron, step daughters, Karen and son-in-law Dave, Cheryl and partner, Segel.
Paul was a very proud and devoted Grandfather and Great Grandfather to many.
Paul had a lifelong love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed traveling with Judy in their RV, spending relaxing days at his cottage, and in later years, making memories at their trailer. He and Judy would spend every winter in their favourite sunny spot, Ajijic Mexico. Those close to him will remember the simple joy he found in nature, time spent with family, his canine companions, the many trips and quiet moments that meant so much to him.
Paul will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. His warmth, love of life, and devotion to family will remain in the hearts of those who shared in his life.
Paul spent his remaining days at Bethell Hospice where they took great care of him. We wish to thank the nurses and volunteers at Bethell Hospice for their kindness and care.
Celebration of Life to be held at LEGACY PINES GOLF CLUB, 9 Zimmerman Drive, Caledon, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Donations can be made to Bethell Hospice Foundation bethellhospice.org and Canadian Cancer Society cancer.ca.
