Maria Natalina Conte, born on November 14, 1937 in Scauri Minturno, Provincia Latina, Italy was called home to heaven on July 30, 2025. She passed peacefully at her home in Bolton Ontario, surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Filippa and Marco Forte, her sisters, Giovanna Conte, Lucia (Maria) Conte, her sons Morris and Marco Conte, daughter – in – law Annette Conte and her granddaughter Lydia Conte . She leaves behind her husband Pietro Conte, and her sons Tony (Debbie) and Rob ( Rhonda) Conte. Her legacy will be continued by her 12 grandchildren and 21 (soon to be 23) great grandchildren, whom she loved so much. She leaves behind her brother Gianni Forte (Janet), and many nieces and nephews.
A deeply religious woman, she lived a full and happy life. Her greatest joy was raising her four sons and travelling with her husband Pietro, especially their winter trips to Florida where for over 35 years they spent many happy days with friends at the beach. She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday afternoon 2-4 pm and evening 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton, on Wednesday morning, August 6 at 11:00 am. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Highway #27, Woodbridge.
A reception for family and friends will follow: Ceasar’s Centre, 12495 Highway 50 Bolton.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society Peel (alzheimer.ca).
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the dedicated and hard working nurses and co-ordinators at the Caledon Community Services, Ontario Health Services, Spectrum Health and to Dr. Nihal El Khouly for the care and support they provided Maria in her final days and months.
