It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Archie McMillan on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, in his 90th year. Archie will be missed by his loving family; wife Marjorie Doreen Campbell, daughters Carol (deceased) and Anne, son–in-law Douglas, grandchildren Krista and her husband Scott, Robert and his wife Breanna, Steven, James (deceased), Emily, Melba, and Lucille, great-grandchildren David, Isaac, Joseph, Henry, Bryan and Elizabeth, sister Amy (deceased), sister Jean (deceased) and brother Donald.
Archie was born and raised in Toronto, served his country in World War II, and proudly worked for the City of Metropolitan Toronto for many years. Archie will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his generosity and for his great sense of humour.
Family and friends will be received at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning, April 6 at 11 o’clock. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
