Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Dufferin Oaks , Shelburne in his 86th year. Deeply missed by his beloved wife Muriel; children Trevor and Bonnie, Margo and Dennis, Heather and Robert, Lise and Charles; grandchildren Tammy and Kyle, Mark and Cindy, Jamie, Jennifer, Jessica, Cassandra, Michael, Arusha and Anthea; great grandchildren, Eric, Paige, Taylor, Mya and Sarah. He will also be fondly remembered by his surviving sister, Betty. Predeceased by his brother, John. Murray was a longtime member of Caledon East United Church and the Peel Lodge, A.F. & A.M. No. 468, Caledon East. Murray loved farming and was a longtime employee at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft. Visitation will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S., (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2 – 4 o’clock. The family invites friends to gather with them to celebrate Murray’s life in the Egan Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, February 4 at 2 o’clock. Spring interment St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Caledon. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Peel, 60 Briarwood Avenue, Mississauga L5G 3N6, or Caledon Community Services, Upper Level, 18 King Street East, Bolton L7E 1E8, or charity of your choice.
