Was called to join the Lord on Monday, June 8th, 2009 in her 73rd year. She is predeceased by her husband Roy. Myrt will be deeply missed by her children Suzanne (Doug), Brenda (Rob), Shawn (Shirley), Bonnie Lynn (Rob) and grandchildren Andrea, Alicia, Ryan, Sarah, Holly, Cynthia, Matthew, Victoria, Madison, Andrew and Shawn. Beloved companion of pet Tara. Fondly remembered by her brothers and sister and their families: Ed, Jim, Carole and Walter. Predeceased by mother Margaret and brother Russell. Myrt’s loving memory will live on forever in the hearts of the Lane and Bovair families, her many close friends, and her best friend Pauline Shackleton. Myrt’s children wish to thank the staff of Compassionate Care, the Red Cross and the VON for their love, care, compassion and support during her final days at home. A special thank you also to Reverend Randy and all those who visited her during her time in the hospital and her final days at home – those visits brought her great comfort and peace. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 o’clock. A celebration of Myrt’s life will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, June 11 at 11 o’clock. Interment Coningsby Cemetery, Erin.
