William (Bill) McNamara

 (Retired Principal with Dufferin/Peel Catholic District School Board, Founder and President of Vocational Training Services)

            Suddenly, on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, Bill McNamara, of Bolton, at the age of 62 years, beloved husband of Kim McNamara.  Loving father of Andrea (David Wicken), Michael (Laura Simmie) and David (Sabrina Singh).  Dear brother of John (Cecilia), Jim (Paula), Laura (Mike), Theresa (Paul), Cecilia (Marcel) and David (Bobbi).  Dear brother-in-law of Curtis (Maureen), Randy Twigg, Daryl (Jeanine) and Blair (Kim).  Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Bill was a huge supporter of the Bolton community.  He was involved with Scouts Canada, Bolton/Caledon Minor Hockey and Orangeville Girls Hockey, Caledon Bandits Lacrosse, Bolton Wanderers Soccer Club and Bolton baseball.  Bill was the principal of Pope John Paul II Catholic School from 1995 until his retirement in 2001.  Bill was an avid golfer and dedicated skier with the Mt. St. Louis/Moonstone ski patrol.  The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213),  Friday, June 5 in the afternoon from 2-4 and evening  7-9 o’clock.  Funeral Mass with cremated remains present will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton,   Saturday, June 6 at one o’clock.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to Brampton/Caledon Community Living,  34 Church Street West, Brampton  L6X 1H3.   Condolences for the family  may be offered at www.eganfuneralhome.com
