Passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years, at the Shelburne Hospital. We thank the Lord for such a long and wonderful life with us all. A loving Mommy to her daughter Judy. A faithful Mom to her son Jim. A wonderful, loving Grandma to her granddaughter Nicole and a very special Gramm to her grandson Jason. A special GramGram to great-granddaughter Victoria and great-grandson Jack. A loving ‘second Mom’ to son-in-law Ken. A special Gramma to grandson-in-law Steve and granddaughter-in-law Julie. Violet will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and the many special friends she made during her lifetime of loving and giving. She will be greatly missed. Her family wishes to extend their thanks to the palliative nurses at Shelburne Hospital for the care and compassion you provided. A funeral service was held in the chapel at Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Monday, February 23 at one o’clock.
